Hidden Word helps you rehearse Scripture with official ESV text and audio on loop, plus My list, Schedule, and Timer cues.
FAQ
- Audio stopped when I closed the app or slept the phone. Hidden Word does not keep fetching new audio after the app is closed or the phone is put to sleep. Only verses already cached on the device will play. Cache the passage or My list while the app is open before you lock the screen; uncached verses will not start.
- Schedule or Timer didn’t start audio. Confirm notifications are allowed for Hidden Word. Closed-app cues need a production build (not Expo Go).
- Passage not found. Check book, chapter, and verse formatting (e.g. John 3:16-17). Network is required for new loads.
- Which Bible translation? v1 uses the ESV® via Crossway’s API. Copyright notice appears in the app.
